Sometimes she considered getting a new lieutenant, but she knew she couldn't let go of him.

Nanao was sucked into one of her books and it is Shunsui's duty to rescue her from the boring world of 'History of Seireitei'.
04. Crossover (Harry Potter)
Having to watch her suffer the effects of the Cruciatus Curse while being unable to help was the worst thing that ever happened to him.

They were both afraid it would be their last, so they made the best out of it.

She kept telling herself she was too old for this, but she still slept every night hugging that stupid teddy bear he gave her when she was little.
