I... can't really say anything (I'm a writer /brick'd), but wtf, I think RP requirements should be based on your participation and attitude, not by how much you can write. Even though I love to write, I sometimes don't want to read paragraphs-long posts about something as trivial as shopping, especially in an RP comm.

Just use as many adjectives as possible. That might help. :(

You just have to find a place where you can be happy with the RP style you're most comfortable with. Get friends together and make a private musebox where they can understand your short writing.
